Experimental Study on EDM SKD61 with Different Material Electrodes

چکیده
Abstract The electrode is an essential tool in electrical discharge machining (EDM). quality and efficiency of EDM are directly determined by the performance materials. Copper tungsten alloy (CuW50) pure copper cuboid electrodes were fabricated wire-cut (WEDM). parameters processing current, pulse width selected as test variables, single-factor experiment was carried out on SKD61 die steel with goal speed v machined surface Ra . results show that obtained using better than those CuW50 electrode. corresponding to maximum optimal two material basically different.
